Motomachi of Yokohama is a sort of mature, historic shopping street. Some back streets has a gentle face even when the main street is crowded.
A holiday in Yokohama
When people living in Yokohama say “go to Yokohama”, it means they visit the Yokohama station or sightseeing areas around the bay. Indeed, I went to Yokohama last week, in which we had some national holidays, and spent a cheerful day.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Forces of Nature
This beautiful lake is not just a common dammed lake but in a caldera volcano which is now safe. Over the last few days, a small area of the mountain has been placed off-limits because of volcanic earthquakes. I hope it is going to be calm again soon.
The next one looked similar to the first one but this is not a volcanic lake but a part of a fjord, that is the sea. The nature always comes as a surprise to us.
