The structure of flowers is commonly point symmetry but it seems difficult to find it in construction products. Artificial buildings usually have line symmetry.
It doesn’t snow much in Yokohama. It does two or three times a year and the snow lies upto three to five cm (one or two inches) and melts soon.
横浜ではあまり雪は降らない。年に数回、数センチ積もるだけですぐに消えてしまう。
In the meantime however, it is cold in winter and everybody’s looking forward to seeing the sign of spring. The last week, I took a picture of Man-saku (similar to American witch-hazel) starting to bloom. It is said that the name of Man-saku came from the first blooming. At least, pronunciation of saku is same as the word of blooming.
