Weekly Photo Challenge: Nighttime

201409-040

I don’t like a flash.
(luckily, I don’t have a strobe light and my camera has no built-in flash lamp)

I don’t like a tripod
(fortunately, because my one is very old and heavy, I can’t take my tripod stand)

I don’t like a film-grain noise
(strangely, I have had no chance to post a night shot in a positive manner)

201409-041

So, shall I say nighttime for an evening shot.

Photo panoramique: rose garden

201409-025Life should be complex and the lifestyle could be simple. So, the life is acceptable and enjoyable. However, from time to time, we make our lifestyle complicated by ourself.
Whenever it rains, roses are in bloom. Anybody can’t help wondering how to take beautiful pictures and to take care of his valuable camera. So it goes.

Weekly Photo Challenge:Endurance

201409-020To say endurance, Mt Fuji may not be a proper topic because it is not a dead volcano but just inactive today. Here Yokohama is 50 km far from the mountain and it is said that ashes from the volcanic eruption fell 10 cm (4 inches) several centuries ago. Probably as you know, the earthquake happens sometimes in Japan. One of the reason is the islands of Japan are on the edge of crustal plates and, in some cases, activities of volcanos are related to this condition. In order to make buildings endurable, ancient people chose a wood to build them instead of rocks.
