leaden seas and skies

When I’m traveling abroad, I always expect fine weathers, clear skies, gently blowing wind, twinkling stars. However, also I know rainy day may give me an alternative way to enjoy my trip. The picture on top was taken in a rainy day while traveling. It was a heavy weather and shows me fantastic scenery.
Interestingly, sometimes we express difficulties or unfortunate things as its weight like heavy and “leaden” gives heavy impression, isn’t it.
