A Part of Macro Monday
Whether you like it or not, Disney is one of the most successful brand of the entertainment business and the Disneyland might be the most vibrant and popular destination for family tourists in the summer vacation season. You could see a lot of smiling, happy voices and romantic scenes there and you could feel happy more or less even if you don’t like any theme parks.
However, perhaps you may think you want to spend quiet hours with your family. Everyday life is always too noisy, isn’t it.
Here’s Tokyo Disney Sea in quiet eyes.
好き嫌いはあるだろうが、ディズニーというブランドがエンタメの世界でもっとも成功したもののひとつであることには違いない。さらにディズニーランドと言えば、夏の家族旅には欠かせない存在であろう。テーマパークなんて嫌いだというむきであっても、行けば多くの笑顔に出会うに違いない。だが、ひょっとすると、家族と静かな時間を過ごしたいと思うこともあるだろう。日々の生活はあまりにやかましいではないか。

最近は画一的だとか、異なる意見を排除する風潮があるとか言われるが、先日、日本はもともと多様性を受け容れる文化だったといった事が書かれた記事を読んで、はたと気がついた。確かにそうなのだ。フランスからの客人を日光や鎌倉に連れていって説明することと言えば、先ずは多様性と寛容性の文化だったりする。神社仏閣が仲良く並ぶのは自然なことであり、おしゃれな和食店の店名がアルファベットで書かれているのも普通のことで、ついでに変な英語がTシャツに書かれているのはむしろおしゃれだったりする。
もちろん、フランスにはアフリカ系はもとよりアラブ系もアジア系もたくさんいて、それぞれが伝統的なヨーロッパ文化の風景の中で当たり前のように生活しているから、日本に比べればずっと多様であるに違いない。だが、同時に日本にもたくさんの異文化が混じり合っていることも事実なのだ。ただ、日本に長く住んでいると、それに慣れてしまって気付かないというだけに違いない。たまには古くからの文化を見直す時間をとっても良さそうである。
でないと、フランス人の質問に答えられず
「あんた、ホントに日本人なのか？」
と聞かれかねない。
Some pessimistic people say that totalitarian mentality is begging to fall over Japan again. Maybe true, maybe no. Nobody knows.
Few days ago I found an article discussing about a culture of diversity in Japan. Indeed, it was saying Japanese had a flexible mind and still have it today. I completely agreed with the writer. That’s because we know a Buddhist temple is next to a shrine, a lot of Japanese restaurant have an alphabetical signboard or T-shirts sometimes argues strange things in English.
Anyway most of Japanese need to learn their culture more deeply.
My favorite time in a day is, as some of readers know, early morning because of its light.
It is gentle, fresh and sometimes spunky
and
the first cup of coffee with bread gives energy.
