夕暮れの横浜みなとみらい地区は、徐々に星がきらめくようにキラキラと輝き出す。まして年末ともなれば、クリスマスのイルミネーションとともに、鮮やかな色彩が広がりだす。
横浜赤レンガ倉庫は、クリスマスマーケットのイベントで多くの人で混雑しているが、遠くから見る建物は、落ち着いた赤が美しい。
倉庫の間には小さいながらもスケートリンクも登場し、冬らしい風景が広がる。
It’s holiday season also in Yokohama. The city is twinkling like a star and go to bed at late night.
Aka-renga, literally red bricks, was a warehouse for exporting long while and is now used for a shopping mall. In the court, the christmas market is held now.
Twinkling winter gives us a warm night.
I’ll feature the twinkle night in Yokohama again soon.

A Part of Wordless Wednesday
When I travel unfamiliar places, I always get the urge to take a picture of transportation system. I don’t know the reason but time to time I found myself shooting buses, trains, boats or airplanes. Of course, the shape of bus in Yokohama where I live is mostly same as what you see in the rest of the world; boxy, having four or six wheels, square windows etc. Perhaps, small differences might arouse the traveler’s sentiment to me.
不慣れな場所を旅する時、いつも交通に関する写真を撮りたくなる。理由は分からないが、時々バスやら電車やら船やら飛行機やらと写真を撮っている自分に気づく。もちろん住んでいる横浜のバスは、世界中の他のバスとほとんど変わりはない。角張っていて、4つか6つのタイヤがあって、窓は四角。ひょっとすると小さな違いが旅情のようなものをひきおこすのかもしれない。
The picture on top is a taxi brings you to the other side. It’s cute and convenient.
一番上の写真は対岸に向かうタクシー。可愛らしいがとても便利。
Above three pictures were taken around Vancouver. And now I learned I didn’t taken such pictures so much in Yokohama. So the last one for Yokohama.
写真はバンクーバー周辺で撮ったもの。横浜ではこんな写真は撮ってないなと今気が付いた。ということで、最後に横浜。
