Weekly Photo Challenge: The Hue of You

Pink roseUsually, I’m writing here about cross cultural things of France or Europe in Japanese. Basically, prominent colors of France seems to be a kind of earth color like brown, green, gray and so on, especially for common Japanese. However, I think, it comes from a color of building and brilliant red or pink can be a symbolic color of Europe.

Honestly saying, I prefer blue of sky and I believe it shines with bright colors. One of easy ways to see a shinning blue is to visit tropical islands but it is possible to do it in north Europe.

Bonne journée(21): Looking into a deep

Looking into a deep and dry blue 
through a break in the trees. 
Falling down to the sky like 
fragments of the summer filigrees. 

When dry air covers the city of Yokohama, close to Tokyo, it tells the Autumn is coming just over there. Autumn is also rainy season. Both dry air and rain brings the harvest season to Japan.

20130921-003乾いた深みを木々の間から覗き込む。光が零れるかわりに自分が落ちて行く。秋の空は深い。

通勤電車の軋む音にふと、前に座る疲れた誰かがふたり分の椅子を使ってうなだれているのに気付く。薄目を開けて混雑し始めた車内を見回し、再び目をつむる。まるで世界など最初からなかった様に、周囲から目をつむる。

ひどく暑かった夏の終わりに秋の扉をこじ開けた風雨が、ひと足先に黄色くなった葉を散らす。秋にはまだ少し間がある。

通勤電車が乗り換え駅に近付いて行く。スピーカーがパチと音をたてる。乗り換えの案内。そして、「どうぞこの先も気をつけて行ってらっしゃいませ」と、いつもと違うアナウンス。

20130727-001The climate in Yokohama has been unusual this year. It was mostly fine in rainy season and even hot. Indeed, sometimes it was 34 degree.

You should not say abnormal or extreme weather. I suppose it would be common fluctuation. We are likely to see only a strange face of our life. Still the nature goes as same as it did, as cicadas appeared all together in chorus. Though it seems too early this year.

横浜の今年の天候は、平年とは違っている。梅雨の時期は晴れていることが多く、暑くさえあった。時々34度を記録するほどだ。だが、異常気象と言うべきではない。普通にあるゆらぎなのだろうと思う。我々はどうも奇妙な面ばかりを見がちなのだ。いつものように自然は移ろいで行く。蝉が一斉に現れるように。まぁ、今年は早すぎるだろうけれど。

今日も良い一日を。
