Walking through a forest, winter air gives me kind of achy pain with exquisite sense.
森を抜け、冬の空気は鋭敏な感覚と共にある種の痛みをもたらす。
Once and away, sunshine filtering through foliage gives me some slack.
時折訪れる日差しは、僅かな息抜きとなる。

It was not my intention to take a shadowed picture of this prestigious hotel but I thought it should be a good idea to use shadow even if it was just a casual snap.
What I wanted to take as a snapshot is like this:

The first day of the new year is called “元旦”, pronounced ‘gan-tan’, in Japanese and it means the origin and the morning. Interestingly, the second kanji character consists of “日” (the sun or day) and “一” (one or the horizon) then it is said that it means the first morning.
New floral stems of cherry blossoms are already comming up and it would be the right time to start new things.

An indian summer day in Kamakura, the sky was blue and the sun light was warm. Everybody was busy for their preparation of New Years Day but a shrine on the fringe of the old town was pretty quiet.
