Photo panoramique: a season of grapes

201508-311

I have visited two different places of production of grapes this week, one is famous for wines and the another is not well known but calm and quiet place to spend a week end. It was a hot and sweet experience.

今週、ワインで有名な場所とあまり知られていない静かな場所とぶどうの産地を2箇所訪ねた。暑く甘い日となった。

Photo Panoramique: Beneath Your Feet (Yokohama)

201508-201

The picture on top is a panoramic view from the park named “Minato-no-mieru-oka”, literally “a hill you see a harbor” where it is one of the most famous places to visit. (click to enlarge)

Beneath your feet when you visit there, Motomachi, an old street, could be the must-visit place though the bustling shopping and entertainment district would be MM21 area.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Beneath Your Feet

When I walked on a small street to the station in an early morning, suddenly I found this newly designed cover of a fire hydrant in Yokohama city. It is unlikely that someone replaced it last night. Obviously it was there for a while and I haven’t cared beneath my feet. What a cute cover isn’t it.

It is interesting to find a common but local signs on a street. When you marvel at an ancient architecture, you may be stepping on an interesting signs.
