Weekly Photo Challenge: Wall

201503-201

Concrete walls aren’t as stiff as urban life.
Time to time we have some difficulties finding an exit.
Probably all we need to do is to keep a personal wall being soft.

Here are some pics of concrete walls I took in a residential block.

In response to the weekly photo challenge, Wall by The Daily Post.

Photo panoramique: still winter

Still it’s winter. Time to time it is snowy and time to time it is sunny.

A empty bench is going to be occupied but now here the sun light is.

Bonne journée (37) the first sign of spring

201502-111
Man-saku blooming

It doesn’t snow much in Yokohama. It does two or three times a year and the snow lies upto three to five cm (one or two inches) and melts soon.

In the meantime however, it is cold in winter and everybody’s looking forward to seeing the sign of spring. The last week, I took a picture of Man-saku (similar to American witch-hazel) starting to bloom. It is said that the name of Man-saku came from the first blooming. At least, pronunciation of saku is same as the word of blooming.
