Winter cherry blooms in October or November to February.
桜はいつも春に咲くとは限らないが、誰もが春に咲いて欲しいと思っている。
冬桜の花期は10月の終わりから春にかけて。
A Part of Mostly Monochrome Monday
肩を押す春風の重みに頭を垂れ、
こめかみを締め付ける冷気に肩をすくめ、
目尻に刺さる鋼色の三日月にまた宇宙を見上げる。
繰り返す昨日と明日が同じでないことに
間も無く脱ぎ捨てるコートを思い出して安堵を覚え、
繰り返す昨日と明日が同じであることに
腕まくりするシャツを思い出して不安を感じる。
チチと鳴く鳥を探して甘ったるい空を見上げるのが春の兆し。
まだ冬枯れの梢にも、咲き始めた寒桜の花の間にも、鳥が忙しくしていた。
この写真は2年前の今頃ブルターニュで撮ったもので、ピントが多少あっていないこともあって、Blogにも使っていなかった。なんだか湿った春が懐かしくなって、今回はこの写真を持ち出した。華やかな梅も春らしくて良いが、濡れた地面に一面に広がるクロッカスも悪くない。

Hydrangea macrophylla was originally from Asia, typically Japan, and brought to Europe. It is said that it was brought through the silk road a thousand years ago. It blooms in June to July in Japan but in August as well in Europe.
Dead petals are also beautiful, don’t them.
