A Window

201710-111

Sometimes you just have to jump out the window and grow wings on the way down.
– Ray Bradbury

Windows are for seeing outside.
At a summer noontime flowing slack air,
At a stormy night brushing chilly rain,
It always gives you a delightful place to know outside.
Windows are for getting a light.
At a warm breakfast place,
At a rainy afternoon with a ennui book,
It always gives you a light to spend your days.
Sometimes you have to get into nature in order not to miss yourself.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Windows

IMG_2897

You might say it’s not a window. Even so, you are still getting a peek at a hidden steps in a small footpath through your green window.
I thought how I could take a picture of window without it at first but soon I came up with the classic idea from Ukiyoe.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Layered

201709-401

Many years passed after I left the city where I grew up. It was a typical town symbolizing past high economic growth and I missed most of scenes in my memory. I never would have guessed I missed my way there. Only a navigation system told me where I should turn. One thing completely same as what I know was, of course, nature, layered thunderclouds, fresh flower petals and ice needles.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Waiting

201709-201

Nobody was waiting on the bench but it was waiting for someone. Whenever you are in search of nowhere places, nobody finds you. Waiting does not mean absence.
