The Osanbashi pier, the international pier at Yokohama bay, has quite unique shape. Its height is enough low to show beautiful ships and wooden surface is in harmony with nature. When you walk on the pier, you may feel like strolling on a hill. It was designed by Alejandro Zaera-Polo and Farshid Moussavi.

Great image! Certainly unusual!
Indeed once you step into an aisle to the roof, you may feel comfortable as well as strange.
Love the lines in this photo.
