Monotone Monday: Staircase

201504-421

I don’t know why I keep on posting monotone or monochrome pictures in spite of the colorful spring days. In addition, it is not monochrome exactly. At least, I found many colours in these pictures.

Mostly Monochrome Monday: paddy

201504-321

Spring is the time of rice planting season in Yokohama.
What colour the rice field is?
I have changed value of saturation lower to make it same as my impression.
As I wrote two weeks ago, the picture is not monochrome.

The original colour of the first picture was like this.

Mostly Monochrome Monday: In a forest

201504-221

Sometimes we miss the way in our own forest because of losing something like light, sound or colour.
As you see, it’s not monochrome but missing colours as we do time to time.

The tree stands on the right seems to have an advantage.

Mostly Monochrome Monday: Yokohama BQ

201504-121

Mostly hueless, low saturated and not-monochrome-but-monotone pictures would be what I intend to pick up here. That’s why ‘mostly’.

Interestingly, lines are looked out of horizontal and unstable but level. As usual, another picture with colours is added below. Two pictures were taken at Yokohama Bay Quarter

The post is also my second contribution to WPC: Blur.

Monochrome Monday: gradient alleyway

201411-130Yokohama is NOT known as a slope city but actually you may see many steep gradients here and there.

Could be also the weekly photo challenge: Descent.
