Obviously this is not a monochrome photography but I really like those kind of photos having lower chroma which may give us various colours.
この写真はもちろんモノクロームではないが、この彩度の低いモノクロームのような色合いが好きなのである。

On a repaired part, it says 15th century. This is the typical architecture in Brittany.
修復された部分に15世紀（XV siècle）と書いてある。それが正しいかどうかは分からないが、少なくともこの道に覆いかぶさるような構造は中世ブルターニュの典型的なものである。

すっかりバカンスシーズンの真っ只中になって、いつでも誰かが何かを求めて賑わっている旧市街を除けば、普段の街は何だか静かになってきた。 ようやく晴れて熱くなった車の小さなトランク一杯に5人分の荷物をパズルのように詰め込む様子を見ながら、その家の家族はどこにゆくのだろうと想像し、ようやく解決したトラブルの確認メールに付け足したように「良いバカンスを」という挨拶を互いに送り合いながら、次週の仕事の心配をする。今年の夏がどこかいつもと違って、冬にでも幽閉されたような気分になるのは、おそらくは気のせいでしかない。
Nothing has changed. Everybody’s on vacation and the town is going to be quiet. Only the old town is still crowded by roving people who is perhaps getting lost between past and now. Something is different, as if I were locked away in a tower somewhere, but nothing has changed.

Walking in unexpected drizzle, suddenly I found a small canal in front of me.

I’m on a very short vacation at west Brittany just for walking in a drizzle to forget business days. Though I find the rainbow here and there more than 10 times a year but I couldn’t this time. A picture at the bottom was taken 1 month ago.
