It was not my intention to take a shadowed picture of this prestigious hotel but I thought it should be a good idea to use shadow even if it was just a casual snap.
What I wanted to take as a snapshot is like this:
in order to add a story behind the photo.

写真をこうして撮り比べてみると、受ける印象の違いが明らかで面白いです。なるほど、と頷いてしまいました。
まさにビクトリアのフェアモント・エンプレスです。食事を愉しむ場所で時間をかけるわけにもいかないので、さっと撮った写真ですが、伝統や格式みたいな感覚が写せたらと露出もフォーカスも変えてみました。
