I’m not the type to make New Year’s resolutions. I know it will be abandoned soon. I’m not the kind of person who prays for a good year. I know I’m not going to do anything for the world. However, I believe that our planet will always improve into the future if you and I trust in each other. I wish you are starting a happy and good new year.

新年の誓いを立てるような人間ではありませんし、世界が良くなるように祈るタイプの人間でもありません。三日坊主な上に、世界のために何かをしようなどと考えたりしないことは自覚しています。でも、誰もが相互に信頼すれば何もかもが良くなるような気がしています。より良い一年になりますように。
