今日は何してんの？
Nothing much, just marinating watching seals.
いつもと同じ。アシカ見てまったりするくらいかな。
このmarinatingという言い方が通じるのかどうかは知らない。Webを見ていたら出てきた言い回しで、手元の辞書にもない。いろいろgoogleしてみると、いくつかリラックスするという意味が出てくるから、ひょっとすると文脈によっては使えるのかもと思った次第である。誰か教えてくれないだろうか。まぁ、覚えたところで使うチャンスはなさそうではあるが。
急に秋の気配がしてきてカリフォルニアに憧れを感じるのは単なる天邪鬼か。

There’s an invisible thing doesn’t appear whenever you don’t want to see it as you may see on the top picture. It might be true that the devil is in the details.
Last month, I was walking down a corridor between an old building and a cathedral to find something photogenic with my camera. It was a quiet morning. When I looked at the door next to me, suddenly it appeared. The ruby red flower head was left on the stone pavement close to my toe. God is in the details.
見ようとしなければ現れないものがある。画竜点睛を欠くというより単なる見落とし。
先月、とても静かな朝、写真でも撮ろうと古い建造物と立派な教会の間の回廊を歩き回っていたら、それは突然現れた。つま先に誰かが忘れた赤い花。神は細部に宿る。
