Bonne journée, Cross Cultural

raindrops

I was probably seven years old and definitely didn’t know what the world was. Well, I still haven’t understood. It rained every day because it was a rainy season. My parents were busy for working then I had to spent a time by myself until they went back home. Needless to say, it should not have been. Just 7 years old.
There were two options; one was to stay home, watching TV or reading books, the other was to visit a house of a friend of my parents. Latter would have been better choice in aspect of safety but, as you may agree, a friend of my parents was not always a friend of me. I didn’t want to spend my time in an uncomfortable room but it rained. Finally I found a solution. I decided to play in a garage having no door. Just next to me, it was raining. After growing up, I learnt that it was a precious moment to know what nature is, and what the world is. It should have been a very very small part of it, but was enough.
