In stark contrast with old and weak concrete blocks covering the ground, a wild grass was looked fresh and strong.
I have been thinking a way of expressing contrast in terms photography but it’s not the time to get strong contrast in autumn, especially on cloudy day. In recent two years, I used to take smaller camera for walking because it’s more easy to carry and good to find unexpected things. A picture on top was taken by it with an intention showing contrast between soft and sharp, old and fresh, instead of photographical contrast.
More often, more opportunities. That is what I learnt.
Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #271: Contrasts
I love this kind of contrast, well captured.
Thank you for the words. Sunlight is weaker but it’s good to walk now at Yokohama. Have a good weekend.
Love that your image fit more than one type of contrast – nicely captured!
Thank you for the message. It is so nice to have an opportunity to participate in the challenge.
Nature speaks louder — and your photo clearly shows it!
Just a wild grass but something lively. Thank you for your message.
contrasts in the concrete and vegetation yes, but also in shapes and textures. Very nice.
Thank you for your findings. Yes, that’s why I chose looking down perspective. I’m happy to hear the comment.
Welcome.
