Metropolitain

　折角なのでパリの写真をと思ったが、どこを探してもほとんど写真はない。パリには特に思い入れがないから、写真を撮らないどころか、用事がなければ出かけたことがないのがその理由だとはわかっている。パリらしい景色がほとんどないモンパルナスの写真なら残っていたが、夏の暑さでレールがひん曲がったという馬鹿げた理由で電車が止まったから、仕事先からブルターニュに戻れず、駅でやることなくうろうろしていたからである。そんなわけで、ようやく見つけたMetropolitain。モノクロームが似合うデザインだと思ったが、なぜか自分で彩色していた。

I thought I would take this opportunity to post some photos of Paris, but no matter where I looked, I found very few. I know that the reason is that I don’t have any particular attachment to Paris, so I don’t take photos there, let alone go there unless I have to. I did have photos of Montparnasse, which has almost no Parisian scenery, but I couldn’t get back to Brittany from work because the trains stopped running for the ridiculous reason that the rails had bent due to the summer heat, and I ended up wandering around the station with nothing to do. And so, I finally found this photo of Metropolitan. I thought the design would look good in monochrome, but for some reason I colored it myself.
